The chronicle of Bozhydar

An intermittent game of Thousand year old vampire I started in 2024 and update intermittently.

TYOV is a solo journaling game where the player writes diary entries based on prompts provided by the rulebook to tell a story of a vampire living through the ages, gaining and loosing connections to people, gaining and forgetting memories.

My game follows a minor nobleman who was turned in early XI century Eastern Europe, a land in the precarious balance between Slavic paganism and invading Christianity. I take a lot of liberties with the world being described.

I don’t follow the rules exactly: while the game intends for various journals entries to take the form of (run-on) sentences, I found I have a lot more fun indulging in full paragraphs.

CW: Graphic depictions of violence.
